Warranty
Warranty: 30 days on SP (Sunlight Plumbing) parts and labor |No warranty on customer supplied parts | No Warranty on Drains |Customer must notify SP if asbestos is present in home prior to work.
Limited Warranty
A. Sunlight Plumbing (“SP”) warrants its materials and workmanship to be free from defects for 30 days after completion of the work described in this Invoice, unless otherwise specified in writing. There is no warranty on drain cleaning. In the event a manufacturer offers a warranty, said warranty will negate and supersede SP’s warranty. THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY BY SUNLIGHT PLUMBING TO CUSTOMER, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
B. Customer shall telephone SP within 24 hours of warranty claim. SP will respond with reasonable promptness between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
C. SP shall not be liable for water or other damages relating from any defect in materials or workmanship or delay in responding to said warranty claim.
D. SP shall not be liable for lost profits, incidental, special, exemplary, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from any work performed or materials provided, whether or not covered by this limited warranty.
Notice of Defective Work
Upon completion of the work, Customer agrees to inspect the work for defective workmanship and materials. Customer agrees to notify SP of all defective work and/or materials within 48 hours of completion of work described hereunder. Customer agrees that upon discovery of any allegedly defective work and/or materials, Customer shall immediately call SP who shall have their first opportunity to repair any and all alleged defective work and/or materials. The failure to allow SP the first opportunity to repair the defective work and/or materials shall void all warranties hereunder. Customer agrees and recognizes that Customer shall not withhold any payment for allegedly defective work and/or materials. SP is not responsible for reimbursement for work performed, materials provided, or damage caused by any other company or individual.
Services Not Covered
SP will not perform any other work or trade than that which is specified herein, including but not limited to carpentry, plaster/drywall work, tile work, landscaping, masonry, flooring, roofing, paving, etc., unless specified in writing. Unless otherwise stated, paint, plaster, stucco, and landscaping repair is not included in the price and is the responsibility of the Customer.
