Founder’s Story:

Named for our daughter, Soleil Lucia, and in honor of the Sunshine State, Sunlight Plumbing has the honor of serving our neighbors in Jacksonville, and we don’t take it for granted.

Hi, I’m Michael Muto, and together with my wife Jessica, we run Sunlight Plumbing — a family-owned plumbing company serving our neighbors right here in Jacksonville.

I started plumbing when I was just 17, right out of high school. I was looking for a way to build something real — something with my hands — that could support me and the family I hoped to have one day. I wasn’t chasing a corner office or a big title. I just wanted to be skilled, dependable, and useful. Plumbing gave me that. It still does.

Now, with over 25 years of experience under my belt, I’ve worked in multiple states doing everything from new construction and custom homes to remodels and emergency repairs. These days, I specialize in water heaters, filtration systems, and residential plumbing service and repair.

And when I say “we,” I mean it. My wife and I have been working side-by-side for over 15 years — raising our daughter, running multiple businesses, and doing everything we can to help other families take care of their homes. She’s the voice you’ll probably talk to first — handling calls, questions, scheduling, and making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so I can focus on solving problems.

We help families solve hot water issues and hard (or soft) water problems with water heater repair and installation, whether a standard tank or tankless unit, and with customized filtration solutions, from whole-house filters to under-sink RO systems. You’ll rest easier knowing your family is drinking and bathing in clean, safe water.

We also take care of everyday plumbing issues — toilets, faucets, showers, and more. We do most estimates based on pictures and videos to save everyone time and money, but if you’re within 10 miles, we’re happy to stop by for a free in-person estimate too.

When you work with us, you’re not dealing with a big corporation or a rotating cast of subcontractors. You’re working with real people — your neighbors — who take pride in doing honest work the right way.
